Spring is turning to summer, and we hope that life is good with you wherever you are in the world. There are some new additions new to the artist’s pages which we hope you will enjoy, We have also found a Phil & John & The Woodthieves song called ‘Carolina’ from early 1991, which was recorded live on their American tour. Mandolin was overdubbed back in Derby during the mix sessions, and it was released originally on their live album Breakfast At Ruby’s. We have added it to the Archives pages under the image ‘Old New Borrowed Blue’ which we thought fitted the bill quite nicely! You will find the song on our archive page.

Coming soon: Charlotte Parmiter folk song album, David Clifton acoustic folk EP, all in production.

A warm welcome to all our recent visitors; thank you for taking the time to have a look around Little Room. The year has started well, Spring is springing, and life is good! Here are the latest updates for you: (….the girls have been busy!)

Katie Targett Adams. Katie has just finished working with producer writer Marc Barone on a French Electronic Music dance track which will be released in the early summer through OHM Records in Marseille, licensed through Universal. We will publicise the release date as soon as we have it. She has also been singing in Beijing at a concert featuring a new composition by Karl Jenkins, composer of The Armed Man, which continues to be his most successful composition. Having sung the newly commissioned work, Katie was then privileged to meet the great man himself.

Charlotte Parmiter. Charlotte’s album of folk songs is taking shape, and the overdubs are now being added at a studio not far from the Smoky Mountains, in Kodak, Tennessee.

Ellice. The tracks for her EP are now almost complete, and once the final harmony parts have been finished, mixing will begin in the heart of Herefordshire. We will soon have a release date for you.

Phil and producer/engineer Rob Bullock have now moved into their new studio space; a great place to work and sounds excellent, by all reports.

Phil has also been putting the finishing touches to the new Paul Bell album and will be playing on some of the live concert dates with him, which will include the Greenbelt festival. Check out Paul’s new album at www.paulbellmusic.com

X Factor regional finalist Ellice is currently preparing the songs for her new EP with producer and writer Paul Kingston. She will also be playing selected local and regional gigs this summer.

Esther Alexander has been playing concerts throughout the summer and autumn with various combinations of guest musicians depending on the venue. Esther’s albums are available on iTunes, and her most recent CD was recorded with producer Kipper at the helm. She is currently busy with family life and still finding time to write, record and work on completing tracks for her new album.

Tim Oliver has a new four track EP of his music out in really cool vinyl-look CD format. Visit his myspace site to order it, or log onto his profile here at little room to download tracks.

Lizzie Deane has been working with Boy George and touring, as well playing solo shows in the UK. She has been working on a new project with Kevan Frost, and has made some great solo recordings of her own; check out her website for details.

David Clifton is writing songs and playing selected solo acoustic shows in Knoxville Tennessee and Nashville. His two sacred music projects, Seeds of Hope & Love and IKOS Christmas Carols & Songs, are both now available on iTunes, as are the two albums he made with Andy Piercy. (Praise God from whom all blessings flow and Psalms, Hymns, & Spiritual Songs) He has also been writing with Kipper and Esther Alexander for her most recent album.

Phil Baggaley has been busy with his studies at University, and writing and producing songs for a new release. He still hasn’t bought his camper van yet, and is currently making plans for a tour with his band, The Time Project. They have a new EP available on Gold Records. Please visit the Gold website for details.

Katie Target Adams is now based in Hong Kong and is continuing her series of concerts and solo events over in the Far East. She is also playing festivals in mainland China, and you can find some of her Chinese language folk songs on her download page. She returns for concerts in her native Scotland, as well as other special events in the USA and Europe; please check her website for up to date concert listings.
